DIY Accessories: Flower Headwrap

Bohemian chic meets your modern day hippie, here's a great new way to make a flower headwrap with things you already have. Since La Coachella started this Friday, I wanted to help those girls out that want to wear a unique head piece. I frequently notice the attire of choice are simplistic pieces paired up with a floral headwrap. Well, my design of a headwrap will be an instant show stopper.

Here's what you will need:
  1. Fake Flowers with stems : Any style you like, I chose blue and white pansies. You can use miniature roses or daisies.
  2. A necklace of some sort, one that has loops like the chain pictured above.
  3. An elastic hair tie!
  4. Scissors!

Follow the pictures and you'll be finished in no time!
Cut the stem.
Intertwine the stem into one or two of the loops.
Attach flowers to end of the stems, now the flower is securely fastened to the necklace.
Keep doing this until you feel like there's enough flowers.

If your necklace is too long, add the hair tie at the end and then this will allow your headband to wrap easily around your head and it will also securely stay on your head.

So you can wear this type of headpiece with a long maxi dress or even a sundress. This is a very cool, romantic look. You can wear it with some soft curls or straight. It give your outfit an extra touch if that's exactly what you're looking for! Hope this works for you! Show me your creations! I'd love to see them!

Toodles,
A
