How To Get This Look: Punk Rock Chic

You've made your DIY vest, how will you wear it? I actually wore it to school today. I had a practical for my class and I wanted to feel strong. What you don't realize is, the way you dress really helps with how you portray yourself. So I felt very confident at school today and I'm pretty sure I aced my practical. :) So here is how I accomplished my outfit!

DIY Clothes: Studded Camo Skirt

So my boyfriend predicted that camo was going to be in this season. He said that camo is timeless and it was making a comeback. Honestly, who says that? However, he is right...

You can use any sweatshirt that you may have for this easy, effortless look. I had this sweatshirt again, lying around, untouched and unworn for months. I haven't seen anything like this before, and thought it would be a fun design! Be the first person to wear this cutout sweatshirt amongst your friends!

DIY Makeup: My 10 Minute Makeup Routine

News flash, I don't wake up every morning looking like a million bucks. In fact, it takes exactly 30 minutes every morning to change from drab to fab. This includes taking a 15 minute shower, 10 minutes of makeup, and 5 minutes to do my hair. This is a daily routine, so I've gotten it down to a T, but it may take a little longer for you the first time. So follow along with the numerical step to step picture collages!

DIY Clothes: Crop Top w/ a Peek-A-Boo Heart

I love crop tops, they give the right amount of ease and trendiness. I will be showing you how to make a crop tank that was inspired by an ad I saw in Seventeen Magazine. Carly Rae Jepsen was wearing a dress with a cut out heart on her back. I instantly fell in love. I've never seen a crop top version of dresses like that and since I had some left over fabric from my previous tutorial, I went ahead and made a crop top with it.

DIY Clothes: Elbow Patches & Faux Pockets

The weather is a little warmer and the flowers are starting to bud, but I'm not ready to wear tank tops or shorts just yet. Winter is about to end and Spring will start anew. All your standard sweatshirts are getting marked down prices, but why save them for next winter? We can amp those sweaters now and wear them now, when the weather is still calling for a sweater. Here is another DIY tutorial on how to make your normal, everyday sweatshirt trendy!

DIY Makeup: A Makeover Story (Angie)

Ciao, my lovelies! Meet my friend, Angie. She's a graduating senior at the University of the Pacific this Spring. Some things you should know about Angie: She has never worn makeup before, her go-to outfits consist of jeans and t-shirts, and she loves to bake. So that goes without saying, makeup and dresses are all foreign to her. However, Angie will be working soon and in order to be taken more seriously as a bioengineer in industry she wanted to learn how to apply her makeup. (Left-before, Right-after)

DIY Clothes: Skull Sweater

Hello my fashionistas! Spring is coming early this year, thanks to Mr. Groundhog! However, I don't know how the weather is like for you all, but the weather in Stockton, California has been sporadic. It's cold and hot and hot and cold. So this piece will be for that middle ground weather, where it's too hot for a fur-line jacket, but it's cold for a t-shirt. Try on this for size, fashionable DIY fun! This is how you'll make a studded, floral skull for your normal, everyday sweatshirt. Pair this with some leggings and flats and you've got yourself a casual, chic outfit for school.
